The Boyd Tinsley Modern Violin

The Boyd Tinsley Signature violin is the result of years of collaboration between Boyd and Zeta. With his trademark, forceful pizzicato playing style, Boyd found the need for a special violin tuning system that would be able to stand up to both his aggressive playing and the rigors of the road. The Zeta BT Signature violin satisfies this need with a specially-designed flat headstock and a lightweight geared metal tuning system that is durable, resistant to humidly and temperature changes, and that provides stability of pitch along with ease and simplicity of tuning.
With the trademark Zeta “Modern” lightweight solid-wood black body and patented Strados pickup system, the BT signature model delivers both the stylistic look and “distinctively Zeta” tone that Boyd prefers for stage and recording.
Exclusive active electronics provide internal adjustments for individual string balance to accommodate changes in strings or playing styles while providing plenty of signal for professional stage performances or studio recording sessions. A special multi-pin output jack provides MIDI compatibility when used with the Zeta Synthony II MIDI controller/Synthesizer (sold separately).

The Classical Violin By Daniel Kobialka

The perfect union of the traditional violin with the innovation of today's technology. Mr. Kobialka helped design our very first electric violin in 1982. Having spent nearly 2 decades performing with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, Daniel understands the type of electric instrument that a classical performer desires. The (DK204) body features a traditional violin shape, gold-trimmed hardware, and a custom hand carved scroll. The result is a violin with superior feel, balance, and performance. It comes standard in a specialized Maple Vintage Sunburst (pictured here) and is MIDI compatible when used with a Zeta Synthony II MIDI Controller.
